Sioux Lookout woman charged following collision

A 30 year old Sioux Lookout woman has been charged following a hit and run accident.

This past Saturday afternoon around 3 pm, the Sioux Lookout OPP received a report of a vehicle collision.

The vehicle at fault fled the scene.

Officers were able to locate it a short time later and arrested the driver.

It was determined that she was impaired at the time.

She faces a total of five charges, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving, and being a novice driver with alcohol in her system.

She’s due to appear in Sioux Lookout court on October 1st to face the charges.
