The Ontario Special Investigations Unit is looking into an injury at the Sioux Lookout Detachment of the OPP.
On Wednesday, the OPP responded to a report of an intoxicated man and he was arrested.
He was placed in the cells of the Sioux Lookout Detachment, where he sustained an injury.
He was then taken to hospital for treatment.
Anytime a person in police custody sustains an injury the SIU is called in to investigate.
