Starting a new hobby can be hard, but it’s easy when there’s someone to guide you. Moca Loca Candles is hosting a candle-making fundraiser where half of all proceeds go directly to It’s a Dog’s Life.
The workshop runs Saturday, May 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Norman Community Hall. The cost is $60 per person. Since there are limited spots, registration is required; you can reach out via email at Magui_1088@hotmail.com or by phone at 431-337-0977.
When you get there, you will be provided with all the necessary materials and guided through the candle making process. You’ll learn basic techniques, explore various waxes and essential oils, and master melting and pouring procedures before the final step: colour mixing and layering. Plus, snacks and drinks to enjoy while you’re busy crafting your perfect candle!
