The pins have settled and the high-fives have been handed out. Special Olympics Ontario’s 5-Pin Bowling Provincial Qualifier wrapped up at Mario’s Bowl this past weekend (March 27-28), and the energy in the building was nothing short of electric.
While the final scores tell one story, the real impact is found in the community behind the athletes. I sat down with Kenora Special Olympic Coordinators Vicki Hawkins and Gary Socholotuk to reflect on the weekend’s highlights and what these results mean for the road ahead.
