Summer McIntosh qualifies for 400m I.M. final

Summer McIntosh could be on her way to her second Olympic podium.

She won silver in the 400m freestyle on Saturday, Canada’s first medal of the Paris games

The 17-year-old Canadian swimmer qualified for the women’s 400-metre individual medley final Monday morning.

McIntosh placed first in her heat and third overall.

The evening session is set to start at 2:30 ET.
