Several women in the Kenora and Dryden areas have been profiled for a new series called the Empower Women Show on Youtube.
Jayne Trimble was in Kenora last week to record 12 shows.
She says she’s spoken with doulas, nutrionist and even a curling team.
“Entrepreneurs, professions and leaders, but honestly when people ask me what are you looking for, I just want to talk to anyone with an inspiring story,” Trimble said between tapings in Kenora.
“There are things we want to promote through the show, so things like financial literacy for woman, fertility journeys, healthy body image, the journey of the entrepreneur.”
Trimble adds finding guests to interview wasn’t that hard.
“I would look on Facebook, Instagram and just follow breadcrumbs. I would get people to recommend other women. It didn’t take too long to fill up the schedule. There’s a lot of great women here doing great things.”
Trimble says the show has also been picked up by Rogers for its community channels.
