Three new wildfires on Tuesday in Northwestern Ontario

Three new wildfires have popped up in North Western Ontario.

Two were put out yesterday, and another is under control.

As of last night, there were 14 active fires in the region.

Five are out of control, one is being held, and six are under control.

New infra-red scans show the Red lake 12 fire is nearly 60,000 hecatres in size.

Kenora 20 is now about 36,000 hectares in size.

Nipigon 5 was re-mapped to a larger 8,500 hectares.

All three are still out of control.
