Thunder Bay’s hospital 50/50 surpasses $5 million

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation’s 50/50 has set a new record.

The total for the December draw has surpassed $5 million.

According to the foundation, this total is the largest hospital 50/50 prize in Canadian history.

“Someone is going to become a multi-millionaire on January 3rd,” said the President and CEO of the Health Sciences Foundation, Glenn Craig. “I don’t care who you are, $5,000,000 will change your life in ways one can only imagine. This is the largest hospital 50/50 prize right now in Canada and it’s because of our supporters that we’re making history together with this draw!”

Prior to the main event, there is still a $50,000 holiday bonus draw.

The deadline to purchase tickets that will also be entered into the remaining early bird is Monday at 11:59 p.m.

Ticket sales for the grand prize closes at midnight on Thursday, and the draw is on Friday.
