An officer with the Treaty Three Police Service is among this year’s recipients of a national police honour.
Inspector Trish Rupert will be presented Order of Merit of the Police Forces.
The award is one of the highest recognitions for police leadership in Canada.
The honor will be presented in Ottawa at Rideau Hall by the Governor General at a ceremony on Wednesday morning.
