Wiigwas declares respiratory outbreak

A long care home in Kenora has declared a respiratory outbreak.

The Wiigwas Elder and Senior care facility says the outbreak is on the third floor.

While visitors are still being allow, there are health guidelines that have to be followed.

That includes hand hygience when coming in the long term care home and before entering a residents room.

If you are feeling unwell or sick, you are asked not to visit.

Mask wearing is also encouraged in the facility.
