The Red Lake OPP have arrested a 17 year old youth after responding to a threat with a weapon.
On Monday evening police picked up the youth outside a residence where the threat was received.
The OPP says the accused was found to be in possession of an axe and another edged weapon.
They have been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of uttering death threats.
Because of their age, they cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
