Remembrance Day Ceremony
Date: Tuesday, November 11
Time: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: Jarnel Contracting Pavilion
The community is invited to gather at the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion to commemorate Remembrance Day. This ceremony honors the courage and sacrifice of Canadian veterans and active service members. The event will include a moment of silence, wreath-laying, and remarks from local leaders and veterans. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and dress for the weather.
Remembrance Day 2025 – Your Kenora
Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child
Date: Pick up by November 14
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: Kenora Public Library
Help bring joy to children around the world by participating in Operation Christmas Child. Shoeboxes are available for pickup at the Kenora Public Library and Home Hardware. They should be filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Completed boxes must be returned by November 14. It’s a simple way to make a global impact during the holiday season.

This service is available to anyone seeking support for mental health, stress, or personal challenges. No appointment is necessary, just drop in and speak with a professional in a safe and welcoming environment.
