Kenora OPP arrest suspect in break-ins

The Kenora OPP have arrested a suspect following a string of break-ins in the north end of the city early Wednesday morning.

The break and enters took place in the 15th Avenue North and 8th Street North areas.

The suspect fled on foot prior to the arrival of officers.

The OPP’s K-9 unit and Emergency Response Team were called out and began a search.

The suspected was located just after 1 am.

The 43-year-old from Dryden has been charged with two counts of break and enter.

He appeared in Kenora Court on the charges.
