Matiowski Farmers’ Market

It’s the fourth week of the Matiowski Farmers’ Market!
It runs every Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion. Even if you miss it today, you’ve got plenty of chances to check it out.
Each year, local and regional vendors sell fresh produce, baked goods, handmade goods, art, textiles, meats and more.
It’s one of the highlights of Kenora during the summer, so check it out when you can!
A night of CABARET

Are you ready to have the best Friday night out? Coming up on June 26 at the Seven Generations Education Institute is Kenora Pride’s “A Night of CABARET”! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.
Ms Olivia Life and Mz Molly Poppinz will be hosting this event. Expect an exciting night of drag, music, and community celebration.

Also, you can’t forget about more upcoming events this weekend! This Saturday, June 27, is the Pride March, Barbecue & Vendor Fair from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Husky the Musky and Jarnel Contracting Pavilion. At night, they’re hosting Queerioke between 8 and 11 p.m. at Lake of the Woods Brewing Company.
Sea to Sea for PTSD Meet & Greet

With June being PTSD Awareness and Men’s Mental Health Month, The Sea to Sea Team is stopping by Kenora from 1:30 p.m. 4 p.m. at 240 Lakeview Dr. for a Meet & Greet.
Their mission is focused on “breaking the stigma associated to PTSD while promoting the well-being of PSP, Military, Veteran Communities one step at a time.”
