As of Monday evening, there are 2 new wildland fires confirmed in northwestern Ontario.
The total number of active wildland fires in the region is 117, five less than Monday. Of those fires: 23 are not under control, 4 are being held, 4 are under control and 88 are being observed.

Road closures
- Highway 527 is closed in both directions between Highway 811 and Armstrong
- Highway 811 is closed in both directoins
- Lac de Mille Lacs Road is closed from Inwood Road to Highway 17

Restricted fire zone
No open air burning, including campfires, is permitted within northwestern Ontario until further notice.
