Kenora and Fort Frances will be sharing one of Ontario’s newest judges.
Justice Brent Ian Davidson has been appointed by Chief Justice Sharon Nicklas.
He is one of five new justices appointed by the province on Tuesday.
Davidson started his legal career with Manitoba Prosecution Service as a crown attorney and graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law.
He was called to the bar in 1999.
Davidson is a long-time coach of minor baseball and football in Winnipeg.
His appointment takes effect as of August 27th.
