Kenora city council has decided to postpone approving the 2024 Capital Budget.
Most of the councillors feel it should be examined along with the Operations Budget.
That’s because the increase in the budget right now is over 7 percent.
Councillor Graham Chaze would like to see some of the projects cut from the capital budget to save the city some money.
For example, he wants to cut a $50,000 expenditure for more CCTV cameras.
