High winds knock out power west of Kenora

Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for the Kenora area.

That’s due to very high winds, which could get up to 70 and 80 kilometers an hour.

The windy conditions have caused a number of power outages north and west of Kenora.

Over 1,200 Hydro One customers are without power today.

Hydro One says it could be this afternoon before everyone has electricity again.
