Saints girls 2-0, boys 0-1-1 at OFSAA

The St. Thomas Aquinas girls’ soccer team continues to roll at the All-Ontario “A” championships in Norwood.

The TA girls’ blanked Nouvelle Alliance from Barrie 4-0 in their first game this morning.

Makenah Thompson, Maddyn Hughes, Celeste Temple and Julia Clark each scored for the Saints.

Their next game, the Saints shut out Ecole Secondaire catholique Pere-Philippe-Lamarche from Scarborough 6-0.

The Saints boys’ weren’t as fortunate as they lost 3-2 to Hamilton District Christian High School.

In the second game, the Saints played to a 0-0 tied with Ecole Ronald Marion from Pickering.

Both TA teams have two more games tomorrow.
