It’s been a good month in terms of fundraising for the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation.
Over the past week, over $1.6 million has been raised.
The most recent donation is $125,000 from Mike and Mona Linton.
It’s going to the Strengthen Surgical Care Close to Home initiative that was just set up last week.
That’s thanks to a million-dollar donation from the Dufresne family in memory of their father Doug and their brother Mike.
